Our varsity team of Orlandi, Brooker, Daily, and Hoffman had a total score of 766. Our JV team of Bradley, Albert, Baldwin, and Heaps finished with a score of 733. Their next competition, a run and shoot, is on Saturday February 12th at the Veterans Memorial Center.
Cadets from our drill, color guard, and exhibition team performed in their first meet this Saturday at the Veterans Memorial center. Our unarmed squad placed first, our male color guard team placed second with a score of 510/530, and our female color guard placed first with a score of 512 / 530. Cadet MacCallum placed third an individual exhibition. Great job representing Viera High School!

We were honored to be joined by guest speaker Don Weaver, chairman of the Brevard Veterans Council and Vice President of the Veterans Memorial Center. Our cadets enjoyed hearing his words of wisdom and are grateful for his attendance. Dinner was catered by the Indian River Colony Club. The Hawk Battalion is forever grateful for allowing the Indian River colony club to host our ball year after year.
With more than half of the battalion in attendance on this special night, cadets enjoyed delicious food, a candy bar, photos, and of course, a night full of dancing and fun. Thank you to our booster club for your hard work and dedication to make this military ball successful, and to every cadet and guest who attended this special event. Monday 1/31: PT
