Military Ball
The annual J.R.O.T.C. Military Ball is one of the most anticipated events that the Hawk Battalion has to offer, with an annual attendance rate of more than half of the Battalion. Cadets will receive a three course meal that is provided by the amazing staff at the Indian River Colony Club, along with a guest speaker, and a night filled with laughter, dancing, and great music. We are forever grateful for the guest speakers that attend our ball every year to provide words of wisdom and inspiration. We would also like to thank the Booster Club that puts together this great event for the Cadets and to the Indian River Colony Club who host us year after year and provide top tier staff and venue.
The Military Ball is an extremely formal event so please go through this etiquette slideshow in order to know what is appropriate for this event.

They compete in different events such as raiders, drill, team-building, and more. Companies create their own mottos and shirts in preparation for the day.

The Battalion Dinner is an annual fundraising event put together by our Booster Club that brings together the families of cadets for an evening of delicious food and community. The 2021 battalion dinner was catered by Carrabba's and was a success with over 200 meals sold. As promised, Colonel Thomas and Sergeant First Class Thomas made a TikTok dance video which can be found on our Instagram and on our home page! Our guest speaker, Colonel (Ret.)
