Patriot's Night Ceremony 9/16/22

​On Friday, September 16th, our Viera Hawk Battalion was able to host a halftime ceremony in honor of veterans, and first responders that lost their lives due to the 9/11 attacks. Honoring the veterans was our Hawk Battalion, all 103 cadets, with the color guard consisting of Adam Deforest, Maddison Orlandi, Brennon Curtis and Ian Stevenson. Some highlights of the ceremony was the Helicopter Fly Over as the game started, the support of the Brevard Fire Department in flying the American Flag above the field, the Veteran Participation during the football game’s halftime, the playing of Taps to honor fallen veterans and first responders, with a moment of silence afterwards. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this Veteran Ceremony truly remarkable and momentous!
