J.S. Stone Memorial Cemetery Cleanup

On October 12th, 2019, the Viera JROTC program volunteered to clean up the J.S. Stone Memorial Cemetery, Melbourne, in honor of the United States veterans that are buried there. Our mission is to bring honor and awareness to these important heroes of this great country. We would like to thank specifically Jasmin Robinson, Ethan Maden, Carson Hobin, Jonathan Reichner, Haylee Johnson, Nathin Perkins, Frankin Hallolk-Diaz, Andrew Lohne, Rianna Crumpton, Karen DiMeo, Eden Hamrick, Jessica Wolkens, Jacob Hall-Burns, Gabriel Bernstien, Anna Jennings, Reigna Jennings, Jack Kirk, Andrew Jackson, Connor McLaustin, Jasmine Lopez and Jacob LeDoux for volunteering and making an impact to the Melbourne and the Stone community.

Pep-Rally Color Guard

On October 11th, 2019, the Viera high JROTC color guard performed here at our school’s gym before our pep-rally. We would like to thank cadets Brown, Riley, Hammerick and Spivey for their patriotism and true dedication towards their performance. We would also like to thank Menezes, Rascoe, Petkovic and Magiday for their great performance at the homecoming game!

October 5th Raider Meet

On October 5th, 2019, the first ever Raider meet was held at the local Veterans Memorial Center in Merritt Island. The Viera high Raiders did an amazing job and has shown their true dedication to the program. We would like to thank the Jackson and Desmul family for volunteering to be our team parents.

We would like to thank Jasmine Lopez, Jessica Wolkens, Hailey Johnson and Richard Magaday for giving an excellent color guard performance before our Friday football game, here at our home stadium on October 4th, 2019. They presented the colors remarkably well and has shown true dedication and patriotism through their performance. Go Hawks!
