Last Friday, at the direction of LTC Todd Balog and SFC Carl Thomas, the JROTC Hawk Battalion held a special ceremony of remembrance of the lives lost and the heroes made on September 11, 2001. We stood together in tribute to the courage and resilience shown on that day twenty five years later, reflecting on the sacrifice those who answered the call made.
It was a meaningful moment for our school community to unite in honor of the past. We will never forget.

On September 3rd, we held a family dinner to share highlights about Viera High School's JROTC Program. Instructors, staff, and the booster club presented opportunities and benefits for our cadets.
Afterward, we enjoyed a great meal from 4th Street Fillin Station. It was a productive and enjoyable evening, and we’re excited about the future of our battalion. |
